Welcome to Bright Start - the new way to learn to read!

Developed by an Early Years specialist with over forty years' experience in teaching young children, the scheme has been designed to give enjoyment and success from the very start.

​

There are five stages: Foundation and Discovery which introduce the main characters and their families as they experience events common to many children - visiting family and friends, starting school, a new baby, a new car and others. These two stages comprise not just six carefully graded readers each, but also flashcards, character cards, word jigsaws and a fun Activity Book and Star Chart. A free alphabet poster is also included.

The next three stages are Achievement, Confidence and Independence, each with six reading books, graded to follow on so that new words are assimilated and reinforced, plus an optional Activity Book for each stage.

We offer both a Starter Set with Foundation and Discovery Stages, and a Complete Set with absolutely everything and which comes in a funky cardboard suitcase.

A Parent and Teacher Guide comes with the Foundation, Starter and Complete Sets.
